Perks /perks/ [noun] Benefits that one is entitled to because of ones job. ‘Perks’ is an old tailors way of describing ‘leftovers’ as described in The Modern Tailor, Clothier and Outfitter Vol. 3 4th Edition. (Pg. 300) Most likely referring to leftover cloth after cutting a customers commission.
