Those that know me as the caffeinated tailor (one of many, all, tailors that enjoy caffeine) know I put a lot of work into making guides to get started in bespoke tailoring. Whether to enter the trade itself, get yourself ready for paid bespoke tailoring courses, improving your home sewing, or just interesting in learning to sew. The guides are all available, as accessible and thorough as I can make them and I am always trying to improve on them.
I’ve remade the intro stitches maybe 4 times. Remade trouser making 3 time plus two versions, I’ve made jacket and shirt making twice and the entire thing still needs a new overhaul start to finish. There is still so much more to show that nobody else is covering and it needs written versions.
Like many people; I need to work for a living. Nonetheless for the last many years I’ve worked, learned and made guides. If I can only spend more time on making the guides, they could be less rushed, better produced and updated more quickly.
Therefore for the first time ( at a few peoples suggestion ) I will make a platform for donation. At this moment though I can’t offer anything on top of what I already produce and there can’t be a guarantee of regularity. I can only keep doing what I’m doing and ideally I can work a little less, to put that time twofold into working on my Guide to a Bespoke Suit.
At no point will it be necessary to buy any information from me that I make freely available. Excluding physical media (which I want to make for the written and illustrated guides) which will still be available as free digital files that can be printed out and stapled together with a staple from a stapler by someone with a stapler.

I don’t think that a cup of normal menu coffee should ever cost more than £3.

Any donation is reinvested straight back into being able to make more guides.
