I keep some of the threads for specialised parts of each part of handmade garment making. Basting thread for the temporary stitches and thread marking, handsilk for the hand finishing and machine thread for the main sewing. There is buttonhole gimp, whether that qualifies as thread or not, I also uniquely stock Fugix Buttonhole Twist. I made a point that the Tre Cerchi machine cotton matches each colour of zip I stock.
