Description
These are 8 colours of finishing thread that can be most useful. Black, white, navy and neutrals to sufficiently match 80% of situations. Silamide skeins are a type of finishing thread used in fine tailored garments. Finer than most other finishing thread and just as strong. Being finer, it is much smoother to sew with and a smaller needle can be used.
You can use the bobbins to check whether the thread itself and the colour is appropriate for you and it can be used while you wait for the skein. Each bobbin has 10 strands which is about 11.7 m of thread.
Perform-x, a registered trademark of WAWAK, produces silamide skeins since New Bedford Thread (NBT) discontinued their Furrier waxed skeins. WAWAK is a US based sewing supplier for the US and Canada.
